The main production asset of New Stream Group
– Antipinsky Refinery – is planning in 2017 to put into operation a high-octane gasoline production unit (HGPU), which will allow the refinery to produce its own Euro-5 AI-92 and AI-95 gasolines. By now, construction and installation work on the unit has been completed by 85%.
To date, the main technological equipment is mounted on the construction site of the HGPU: tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, and furnaces.
The combined high-octane gasolines production unit consists of a gasoline and coking naphtha hydrotreater, continuous gasoline catalytic reformer and the light naphtha isomerization plant. The licensor of processes and the developer of basic projects is UOP, one of the largest US manufacturers of refining and petrochemical equipment.
As noted Dmitry Mazurov, President of New Stream Group, the launch of high-octane gasoline production is related to the development strategy of New Stream filling stations chain managed by the Group's retail distributor, New Petrol. 'Currently, the filling stations sell Euro-5 diesel fuel and liquefied hydrocarbon gases, produced at Antipinsky Refinery. With the launch of the HGPU, the range of goods at New Stream refilling stations will be replenished with Euro-5 AI-92 and AI-95 gasolines,' said Dmitry Mazurov.
