The Environmental Commission of the All-Russian People's Front visited the Antipinsky Refinery (managed by JSC New Stream) as part of the program for public control of hazardous wastes disposal.
During the visit, the experts inspected specially equipped temporary storage areas for Class I wastes (mercury, mercury-quartz and fluorescent lamps) and Class II wastes (batteries that lost consumer properties). According to the results of the independent expert examination, there were no violations in storage of industrial waste.
In addition, the representatives of the All-Russian People's Front visited the eco-analytical laboratory of the Antipinsky Refinery, which regularly monitors the impact of production processes on the environment.
The visit of the public commission took place at the initiative of the Antipinsky NPZ. In particular, New Stream and Antipinsky Refinery use state-of-the-art high-tech equipment in their activities, which allows neutralizing the harmful impact of production processes on the environment. Being aware of our responsibility for adherence to high environmental performance standards, we are in favor of strict control, including by the public, of compliance with environmental legislation", said the Chairman of JSC New Stream Board of Directors, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Antipinsky Refinery, the member of the Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Dmitry Mazurov.
In turn, the representatives of the All-Russian People's Front assessed the transparency of the Antipinsky NPZ, expressing hope for active support of the environmental action by other industrial enterprises of Tyumen.
