January 29, 2014 an official ceremony ELOU AT-3 oil refining unit commissioning was held at Antipinsky Oil Refinery as a result of what the enterprise’s refining capacity reached 7.5 million tons.
Chairman of the State Duma (Parliament) of the Russian Federation Sergei Naryshkin, Tyumen Regional Governor Vladimir Yakushev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Antipinsky Oil Refinery CJSC Dmitry Mazurov, General Director of Antipinsky Oil Refinery CJSC Gennady Lisovichenko, investors, partners, and workers of the refinery took part in the event.
The ceremony was held in the conference room of the joint control-center building near the third oil refining unit.
Addressing the participants in the ceremony State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin noted that Antipinsky Oil Refinery was a good example of how new projects really facing the future were implemented. “It is also a graphic example of cooperation by investors, authorities, and builders,” Sergei Naryshkin said.
Tyumen Regional Governor Vladimir Yakushev told those present of the investment climate in the region. He pointed out that Antipinsky Oil Refinery was one of the major investment projects on the territory of the region owing to which Euro-5 oil products would be available on the territory of the Tyumen Region.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Antipinsky Oil Refinery Dmitry Mazurov congratulated the refinery’s employees on such a significant event and stressed the fact that after the third unit commissioning the volume of refined oil would make up 7.7 million tons per year.
Dmitry Mazurov has said that currently 1,100 people are working at the enterprise. In 2013 more than 4 million tons of oil were refined. All in all, as from the date of putting the enterprise into operation in 2006 14 million tons of oil have been refined. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Antipinsky Oil Refinery has emphasized that after the third refining-unit commissioning Antipinsky Oil Refinery becomes the leader among private enterprises in terms of refining capacity and oil processing depth in the country.
At the end of his speech Dmitry Mazurov thanked those investors who believed in the project. In particular he expressed his gratitude to Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank of Russia German Gref.
Gennady Lisovichenko, General Director of Antipinsky Oil Refinery, emphasized that the enterprise was solving the problems not only of swelling its capacity, but also of increasing the crude processing depth up to 94%.
After congratulations Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Sergei Naryshkin, Tyumen Regional Governor Vladimir Yakushev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Antipinsky Oil Refinery CJSC Dmitry Mazurov, General Director of Antipinsky Oil Refinery CJSC Gennady Lisovichenko pressed a symbolic start button of the third oil refining unit accompanied by a storm of applause.
When the official ceremony was over representatives of government authorities and executives of the enterprise talked with the workers of Antipinsky Oil Refinery in informal atmosphere.
