During a formal visit to the Tyumen region, the delegation of the Indian Embassy headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic to the Russian Federation Pankaj Saran visited Antipinsky Oil Refinery, the main productive asset of New Stream Group.

During a familiarization excursion, the distinguished guests looked over the main process facilities of the enterprise and were introduced to the control processes of the plant's installations. The delegation was shown the integrated control facility used to control the operation of the whole oil refinery.

According to the Indian Ambassador, Antipinsky Oil Refinery impressed with the progress rate and scale of the construction and upgrade of production equipment and installations, a high level of automation, and with the fact that the company is actively developing through private investments only. Pankaj Saran admitted that he was surprised to learn the building history of the plant that had been built from scratch on greenfield land in the Tyumen region without any use of the assets of the Soviet past.

After the excursion, Pankaj Saran thanked the management of Antipinsky Oil Refinery for the hospitality and emphasized that it was important for Russian and Indian companies and enterprises to closely cooperate in the oil and gas sector.
