Antipinsky Refinery, the main production asset of New Stream Group
, held a subbotnik, i.e. voluntary clean-up, in the framework of the Year of Ecology on the territory adjoining the refinery, as well as the section of the Starotobolsky Trakt of Tyumen.
About 200 employees of the oil refinery took part in the event. According to the results of the subbotnik, more than 50 cubic meters of garbage was collected. In addition, within a week, dozens of trees will be treated from parasites and the fences cleaned by efforts of the refinery's General Service Department .
The subbotnik became part of a specialized program developed in connection with announcement of 2017 as the Year of Ecology by the President of Russia. As part of the campaign, the refinery is planning to organize a conducted tour of the plant for representatives of Tyumen branch of All-Russia People's Front, the Public Chamber of Tyumen region, public environmental organizations, and mass media. Besides, Antipinsky Refinery staff will make improvements to Kazachii Luga (the Cossack meadows) public garden in Tyumen.
The scheduled work of the refinery's Administration and Maintenance Department in May will include the clean-up of the adjacent area of the Tura bank, landscaping of the refinery site, including planting about 3.5 thousand flowers and 100 bushes.
