Antipinsky Oil Refinery successfully completed the technical testing of LPG dehydration filters
20 November 2017
Antipinsky Oil Refinery, the main productive facility of New Stream Group, successfully completed the testing of the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filtration system.
The conducted tests have confirmed that the filters enable more efficient moisture removal during the oil product transportation from the crude oil distillation unit to the LPG storage facility. The installation of the system was carried out by the general contractor of Antipinsky Oil Refinery – LLC TEHINZHSTROY Construction Company, which is also a member of New Stream Group.
The filters minimize the moisture content of LPG and remove mechanical impurities, thus greatly improving the commercial properties of the products. The pilot operation of the cleaning system will begin as early as in November this year.
Currently, Antipinsky Oil Refinery is also continuing an LPG storage upgrading project, which includes anticorrosion treatment of pipes, thermal insulation of infrastructure, laying of heating cables and construction of a pipeline maintenance site. In addition, a plan for the process facility reconstruction is underway, which will increase the size of the battery. So far, the installation of additional LPG storage tanks has been completed. In the near term, the plant will start installing a new filling system and upgrading the warehouse management system, and an overall expansion of the infrastructure.
The reconstruction of the warehouse will optimize the costs of LPG production, and improve the quality of the final products.
