For the second year in a row, Antipinsky Oil Refinery, the main productive facility of New Stream Group
, was the sponsor of the WDSF OPEN World Dance Sport Series that was held last weekend in Tyumen as part of the Cup of the Governor of the Tyumen region and collected more than two thousand of the best dancers both from Russia and from abroad.
“The WDSF OPEN competition is a high-profile event in the sporting life of the Urals Federal District, and to be involved in this event is a great honor and joy for us,” General Director of Antipinsky Oil Refinery Gennady Lisovichenko emphasized in his address to the contestants. “I'm sure the tournament will present lots of new names to the world of sport dances and will be stuck in the memory of spectators for original performance and bright acts.”
During two days, the dance-floor saw a tense struggle for medals. The victory in the Latin American dance program was won by representatives of Russia, the leaders were the pair: Ivan Korotchenko and Yulia Skorovarova. The leaders in the European program were also Russian athletes who won gold (Ruslan Gasanov and Natalia Terekhova) and silver (Dmitry Kapusta and Yaroslava Sakalkina), respectively. In total, over a thousand sets of medals were to be awarded among dancers aged 4 to 45 years.
