Antipinsky Refinery, the main production facility of New Stream Group
, presented a draft road map for environmental protection and environmental safety at the public discussions organized by the Rosprirodnadzor (Federal Supervisory Natural Resources Management Service) Administration for Tyumen Oblast "Analysis of Law Enforcement Practices Following the 2017 Results".
Sergey Murzin, the Chief Engineer of the refinery, delivered a report on usage of modern technology and methods ensuring compliance in environmental protection. In particular, he noted that the modern analytical equipment of the facility's central laboratory allows reduction of the risks of air and water pollution, as well as monitoring the state of the ecological situation. Sergei Murzin added that in 2017 the refinery purchased a gas air environment analysis system to monitor the state of atmospheric air.
The Chief Engineer also told that additional inspections are performed by third-party accredited laboratories of Tyumen in order to obtain objective information. Every year, independent experts are involved to measure noise, vibration, emissions of air pollutants both on production sites and on the adjacent territory.
According to 2017 laboratory test protocols, all samples taken at Antipinsky Refinery comply with regulatory requirements. In addition, the supervisory authority regularly conducts checks at the refinery to ensure compliance with environmental safety standards. As a result of the measures taken in 2017 - early 2018, no violations were observed.
