Antipinsky Refinery, the basic production asset of the New Stream Group
, completed scheduled repairs on the main technological equipment - diesel fuel hydrotreater (DFHT), hydrogen generation unit, elemental sulfur production unit, as well as on the vacuum distillation section of the atmospheric residue deep conversion unit (ARDCU).
The equipment was shut down on the night of April 24 to April 25, and by the end of the month it was put into operation again.
As part of the repair of DFHT and other process units, verification of instrumentation, inspection of shut-off and control valves, inspection and maintenance of process equipment and pipelines, preventive work on heat, water, and power supply facilities were carried out.
Further, the repair included integration of networks and communications of a combined high-octane gasoline production unit (CHOGPU) into schemes of existing technological equipment.
The repair work was carried out in accordance with the predefined schedule which provided for the majority of preparatory activities before the main technological equipment was shut down, which allowed to reduce the implementation time and minimize the impact of temporary equipment shutdown on the overall production performance of Antipinsky Refinery during the past month.
Alongside with the scheduled repair work on the vacuum unit, the second section of the ARDCU, a delayed coking unit (DCU), is being modernized, which will increase the DCU capacity by 17%. Completion of this section modernization is scheduled for early May, 2017.
