Antipinsky Refinery, the main production asset of New Stream Group
, became the winner of All-Russian contest of best mentoring practices. The onboarding program at the refinery was recognized as one of the best in the Ural Federal District and ranked second in the Mentoring in Production nomination.
Antipinsky Refinery was represented at the competition by the Honorary Mentor of the enterprise - a process plants repairman of the outside repairs site Victor Dorovsky, who has been working at the plant practically since its foundation in 2006. He took an active part in establishing the repair and mechanical shop and has brought up more than one generation of highly skilled professionals.
According to the contest experts, the mentoring program in place at Antipinsky Refinery is highly efficient and allows for prompt and reliable onboarding new employees preparing them for the operational aspects at an industrial enterprise of this scale - even with the shortage of specialized oil refining specialists in the labor market.
The onboarding system at Antipinsky Refinery was developed and integrated in 2014, since then almost every fourth employee of the enterprise has been actively involved in the mentoring program (as of the end of 2017, 460 employees were mentors with a total staff of two thousand).
