Antipinsky Refinery, the main production asset of New Stream Group
, has installed the feed heaters of the combined high-octane gasoline production unit (CHOGPU).
The company’s General Contractor, TEHINZHSTROY Construction Company LLC (also a New Stream Group company) has successfully installed a heater complex in the platforming section, one of the three CHOGPU units. At the final construction stage, a 92 meters heater chimney was built, which is at the moment the highest point of the entire unit.
The CHOGPU includes seven heaters in total: three in the hydrotreater, one at the isomerization section and three more at the platforming section. The heaters are necessary for heating the feedstock of the sections reactors, and are also involved in the straight-run gasoline stabilizing and further dividing into fractions to produce high-octane gasoline.
The heaters installation is the last stage before commissioning and start-up at the CHOGPU, which will include purging and additional tightness testing of pipelines and equipment.
Putting the unit into commercial operation and production of Euro-5 AI-92 and AI-95 gasolines at Antipinsky Refinery will begin in the second quarter of 2018.
