The rating list has been drawn up by the Federal Press publicity and information agency. It includes 20 major companies carrying out business on the territory of the Urals Federal District. In addition to financial indices the rating list cites the data related with the projects in which the companies invested their funds in 2013.
Research has been conducted in reliance on the database of the Federal State Statistics Service and Federal Tax Service. The results obtained in the course of research make it possible to analyze the role of the Urals enterprises in Russian economy.
Metallurgical, oil, and petrochemical enterprises which have been established and developed on the territory of the Urals have been put on the rating list, and the companies of the Urals Federal District which have progressed to the federal level have also been included in the rating list.
Antipinsky Oil Refinery has been ranked 16th in the rating list.
In the beginning of 2014 the third primary crude oil refining unit, ELOU AT-3, with the annual capacity of 3.7 million tons will be commissioned at Antipinsky Oil Refinery. As a result the overall refining capacity of the enterprise will reach 7.5 million tons p.a..
At the end of 2014 the quality of produced diesel fuel will improve as required by Euro-5 standards. In 2015 the combined deferred tar carbonization unit with a fuel-oil vacuum distillation block is to be put into operation. It will make it possible to swell the oil processing depth up to 94%.
In 2016 it is planned to transfer to the production of Euro-5 high-octane gasoline.
