The Antipinsky Oil Refinery’s Workflow Stage II was inaugurated in the Tyumen Region. The refinery is already producing highly refined finished petroleum products.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Tyumen Region Governor Vladimir Yakushev, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District-Yugra Governor Natalia Komarova, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District Governor Dmitry Kobylkin, Chairman of the Tyumen Region Duma Sergei Korepanov, the refinery’s top management, representatives of Russian and foreign banks, oil companies and suppliers of oil refining equipment.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Governor Vladimir Yakushev noted that the commencement of the region’s own advanced refining of hydrocarbons produced in the Tyumen Region and northern areas is a historic moment. He also emphasized that the region was not going to rest satisfied with what had already been achieved, the development in this direction would continue.
To remind our readers, Antipinsky Oil Refinery CJSC was founded in June 2004. Until the beginning of 2008, its capacity totalled 450 thousand tons per annum. The commissioning of Workflow Stage II will enable the refinery to increase petroleum product refining volumes up to 4 M tons per annum. The refinery is planning to reach the capacity of 7 M tons per annum in 2.5 years. The major part of its products will be sold in the Urals Federal District and fully cover the region’s demand.
