Tyumen. The commissioning of the third-phase facilities of Antipinsky Oil Refinery will make it possible to produce gasoline of Euro-5 standard. It was said by Vladimir Yakushev, governor of the Tyumen Region, on air of the Russia 24 TV channel. He mentioned that Antipinsky Oil Refinery is a major investment project which has been implemented since 2004. As of today two phases of the refinery’s facilities have been built. Currently investors have begun the construction of the third-phase facilities.
“Even now the fact that there is such an enterprise on the territory of the region allows us to solve some globally important problems. For example, provide our agricultural and industrial sector with diesel fuel for periods of seeding at comparatively low prices,” explained Vladimir Yakushev. According to him the total volume of investments for the project implementation makes up about 60 billion rubles. One portion of money consists of the funds contributed by the enterprise’s shareholders, another one includes credits borrowed from Russian and foreign banks.
“The operation of the refinery at full estimated capacity will make it possible to employ more than 1,000 people. In addition to that, the growth of production volume will have a favorable effect on tax budget revenues and, what is the most important, our region will be procured with its own fuel of high quality,” stressed Vladimir Yakushev.
However, he added that in the country in general oil refining industry has not been developed enough. Most of crude oil is still exported abroad but not intended for deep processing and the manufacturing of products with high added value.
