16.08.2005

The installation of two tanks of the storage tank battery and the oil fractionation column has begun at Antipinsky Oil Refinery, these facilities form part of the first phase of the refinery which is scheduled for commissioning in April 2006. As reported to Uralinformburo by representatives of Tyumenpromstroi LLC, the general contractor company, the project implementation began already in the 1990s, and the first ordering customer was Transneft Oil Transporting Company OJSC, but in 2000 it gave up its plans. In January 2005 Moscow-based holding “Neftegazokhimicheskie Tekhnologii” (Oil, Gas, And Chemical Technologies) purchased the refinery’s equipment and its subsidiary, Antipinsky Oil Refinery, is now the ordering customer of the works. A credit at the amount of USD 25 million has been borrowed by the refinery for the purpose of its construction. The capacity of the first-phase facilities will amount to 400 thousand tons of oil products per year, and according to preliminary estimates, such volume will make it possible to meet the fuel demand of the Tyumen Region by 25%-30%.
