Industrial Output Grows by 10% in Tyumen Region


In the last few years, the Tyumen Region has implemented a number of large-scale investment projects including projects involving foreign businesses. 
TYUMEN, Dec. 11 – RIA Novosti. The industrial output of the Tyumen Region enterprises has increased by 10% over the past eleven months against the same period last year, as the Governor’s Press Service representative informed RIA Novosti.

“In November, minerals production increased by 0.3% against October and reached 111.9%. The processing industry index comes to 110.6% and electric power, gas and water production and distribution index to 101%,” said the Agency’s interlocutor.

He emphasized that in the last few years a number of large-scale investment projects have been implemented in the Tyumen Region including projects involving foreign businesses. On December 8, diesel fuel hydrotreating facility – the second start-up complex of Workflow Phase III – was commissioned by the Antipinsky Oil Refinery. The refinery has launched the production of Euro-5 highest quality diesel fuel.
“The Antipinsky Oil Refinery implementation project is one of the key projects in the Tyumen Region, because of the large investment involved and one thousand hi-tech job created. Moreover, the refinery addresses the tasks of imports phase-out and transitioning to Euro-5 standards and deep refining of raw hydrocarbons,” said Vladimir Yakushev, the Tyumen Region Governor.
