A: Antipinsky Oil Refinery was founded in July 2004 on the territory of the Tyumen Region.
The first workflow phase with the estimated capacity of 400 thousand tons per year was commissioned at the end of 2006. As a result of technological re-equipment its actual capacity as of 2008 amounted to 740 thousand tons per year.
In May 2010 the second phase of the refinery with the capacity of 2.75 million tons per year was put into operation. So, the total capacity of the refinery amounted to 3.5 million tons per year. It is expected that in the course of modernization of the second phase its capacity will reach 3.3 million tons p.a. even before the 2012 yearend what will make it possible to achieve the total refining capacity at the enterprise of 4.1 million tons.
Let me emphasize that no enterprise of a similar capacity has been commissioned on the territory of the Russian Federation over the past 30 years, but for TANEKO which is also at the stage development and construction.
Antipinsky Oil Refinery plans to increase the volumes and processing depth of oil due to the third phase commissioning in 2013.
Q: At what stage the construction of the third phase is?
A: We have just started the construction of the third stage. Simultaneously we are making pre-project and project arrangements, buy licenses, basic designs, draw up engineering documentation, purchase equipment for main and auxiliary production facilities. The objectives of the third stage are as follows: the capacity of the refinery is to reach 7.5 million tons p.a., the maximum oil processing depth is to increase to 94% (now it is at 57%-60%), oil products shall comply with Euro-5 standard.
The objectives of the third stage are as follows: the capacity of the refinery is to reach 7.5 million tons p.a., the maximum oil processing depth is to increase to 94% (now it is at 57%-60%), oil products shall comply with Euro-5 standard.
The second stage is targeted at increasing the oil processing depth, as well as at swelling the output of light oil products given the quality of the entire range of products is improved. For this purpose the units of fuel-oil vacuum distillation, deferred tar carbonization, reforming, and isomerization are to be commissioned. All this will make it possible to achieve the required selection of light oil products and increase the oil processing depth up to 94%. The reforming unit will improve the gasoline quality so that it complies with Euro-5 standard. In 2016 one more hydrogen and sulfur production unit will be put into operation.
In addition to high quality gasoline the refinery plans to produce coke which is in great demand with iron and steel industry.TSR Federal Business Magazine
