The construction of Antipinsky Oil Refinery is going on: the installation of the first-phase facilities, including two tanks of the storage tank battery and the insulation of the oil fractionation column, has begun.
The first phase of the refinery is scheduled for commissioning in April 2006, according to REGIONS.RU. As reported by representatives of Tyumenpromstroi LLC, the general contractor company, the project implementation began in the 1990s, and the first ordering customer was Transneft Oil Transporting Company OJSC, but in 2000 it gave up its plans. In January 2005 Moscow-based holding “Neftegazokhimicheskie Tekhnologii” purchased the refinery’s equipment and its subsidiary, Antipinsky Oil Refinery, is now the ordering customer of the works.
A credit at the amount of USD 25 million has been borrowed by it for the purpose of the refinery’s construction. The capacity of the first-phase facilities will amount to 400 thousand tons of oil products per year, according to preliminary estimates, such volume will make it possible to meet the fuel demand of the Tyumen Region by 25%-30%.
